USA: Fans take over Times Square to watch UFC 299 presser

Mixed martial arts fans took to New York’s Times Square on Thursday to catch a live viewing of the UFC 229 press conference, which saw things getting heated between reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
McGregor taunted Nurmagomedov, interrupting him as he spoke, accusing him of disrespecting President Putin and saying his own countrymen wanted him to lose the October 6th fight.
The UFC event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on October 6.
